Display font & bilingual poster design

Brief:

pick a visually interesting dist. or neighborhood in Jeddah city. Take photographs of the neighborhood atmosphere.

Analyze the neighborhood and observe its unique characteristics and vibes, then design a display font for the dist. Name in Arabic. Afterward, create a welcoming poster using typographic communication; treat letters as type, illustrations or graphical elements in the poster.

I chose Jeddah's waterfront - Corniche for this project.

I tried to come up with a display font that represents Corniche, and I used for my finalized poster a kufic style font.
